IRS WMR Status Changed to Processing - Can't Get Through to ID Verify Department
My WMR status changed to 'still being processed' from the basic processing message. Tried calling IRS to check if I need identity verification but apparently they wont let you call if its been less than 21 days? Anyone got through to ID verify department? What did you do to reach them?

You need to wait the full 21 days before calling about your refund status. However, if you received a letter requesting identity verification, you can call the Identity Verification department directly at 800-830-5084. Otherwise, consider checking your transcript online for any codes indicating the need for ID verify.
