IRS Verification Letter - Do I really need to wait 21 days? Any faster options?
Just got off the phone with IRS and they said I need to wait 21 days for a verification letter. Anyone know if it actually takes the full 21 days? Really hoping theres a faster way to get this done, I've already waited so long.

The 21 days is the maximum timeframe they quote, but in reality, most people receive their verification letters within 7-14 days. However, with current IRS processing delays, it's best to plan for the full timeline. Make sure to check your mailbox regularly and keep your address updated with USPS.

Hey, instead of playing the waiting game, you should try taxr.ai - it'll analyze your transcript and tell you exactly what's going on and what to expect. Its only $1 and WAY better than trying to piece together info from reddit posts lol. https://taxr.ai
