IRS Transcript Access Error: Invalid Address Message Keeps Blocking Me
Im getting really frustrated trying to check my transcript online. Every single time I try to log in it says something about invalid address and kicks me out. I've triple checked that I'm entering everything exactly as it is on my tax return. Been trying for 2 weeks now and getting nowhere.

This is actually a common issue right now. The IRS system is super picky about how addresses are entered. Make sure you're using ALL CAPS, no punctuation, and abbreviated directions (N, S, E, W). Also if you've moved in the last year, you need to use the address from your most recent tax return.

Call the IRS directly at 800-829-1040. Yeah the wait times suck but they can verify your address right there
