IRS.gov ID Verify Issues - Can't Get Past Authentication Steps
Been trying to verify my identity on IRS.gov for 3 days straight. Every time I enter my info it says 'unable to verify identity' and kicks me out. Anyone else dealing with this? Starting to get really frustrated since I need to check my transcript.

Tax pro here. This is super common right now. The ID verify system is overwhelmed. Try these steps: 1) Clear your browser cache 2) Use a desktop instead of mobile 3) Make sure your credit isn't frozen 4) Double check that your address matches exactly what's on your last tax return. If none of that works, you'll need to call the ID verify hotline at 800-830-5084.
