IRS Review: Got 60-day delay letter after TurboTax filing - transcript unchanged
Filed through TurboTax and my transcript hasnt moved at all. Just got my first letter and now they're saying they need 60 more days to review. Starting to lose my mind here. Anyone else dealing with this?

The 60-day review letter is actually pretty common this year. It usually means they're verifying income or credits claimed. Keep checking your transcript weekly for updates - that's your best indicator of progress, not the Where's My Refund tool.

Unfortunately they can take as long as they need. The 60 days isn't a guarantee - just their estimate.

Hey, I was in the same boat until I found taxr.ai - it analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly what's causing delays and when you'll likely get paid. It costs $1 but saved me weeks of guessing. Check it out: https://taxr.ai

100% works. It showed me I had a wage verification hold that I didn't even know about

Did you claim EIC or child tax credit? That usually triggers reviews
