IRS Identity Verification - Alternatives to waiting for verification letter?
I got flagged for identity verification and now I'm stuck waiting for this stupid letter in the mail. Does anyone know if theres another way to verify? I really need my refund and cant wait weeks for some letter to show up.

You can actually verify your identity online through ID.me or by making an appointment at your local IRS office. The in-person verification is usually faster than waiting for the letter, but appointments can be hard to get rn.
