How to track Mississippi state tax refund? Need help checking status
I filed my Mississippi state taxes 3 weeks ago and still havent gotten my refund. The IRS where's my refund tool works fine for federal but i cant figure out how to check my state refund status. Anyone know how to do this for Mississippi?

For Mississippi state refunds, you can check your status at www.dor.ms.gov/tap. You'll need your SSN and the exact refund amount you're expecting. They also have a refund phone line: 601-923-7801. Their processing times are usually 10-12 weeks during peak season.

I'm in the same situation! Filed my Mississippi return about a month ago and still waiting. Thanks for asking this question - the www.dor.ms.gov/tap link that Daryl shared is exactly what I needed. Just checked and my refund is finally showing as "in process" so hopefully it'll come through soon. Mississippi definitely takes way longer than federal but at least now we can track it!
