Louisiana State Tax Refund 2024 - Anyone Received Theirs Yet?
Filed my Louisiana state return 3 weeks ago and still nothing. The where's my refund tool just shows processing. Starting to get worried since I usually get it within 2 weeks. Anyone else get their Louisiana refund yet?

Louisiana tax specialist here. The state is experiencing delays this year due to enhanced fraud prevention measures. Average processing time is currently 4-6 weeks for electronic returns. Paper returns can take 8-12 weeks. Keep checking the state portal for updates.

4-6 weeks?! thats insane considering last year it took like 10 days 😤

Unfortunately yes. The new security measures are slowing things down but they're necessary to prevent identity theft.

Hey y'all, I know its frustrating waiting for state refunds. I found this awesome tool called taxr.ai that helped me understand exactly what was happening with my returns. It costs $1 but totally worth it for the peace of mind https://taxr.ai
