How to set up IRS payment plan online? Need help with steps for installment agreement
I owe about 8k in taxes and want to set up a payment plan online. Has anyone done this before? What info do I need and is it hard to do? Really trying to avoid calling the IRS if possible.

I just did this last month! Go to IRS.gov, look for 'Apply for Online Payment Plan.' You'll need your tax return, SSN/ITIN, and bank info. Super easy - took me like 15 mins tops. They'll let you do up to 72 months if you owe less than 50k.
