Help finding tax filing ID number for mom's return - urgent help needed

My mom filed her taxes and needs some kind of ID number but I'm not sure what it is or where to find it. Really need help figuring this out so I can help her get her refund sorted.

There are several ID numbers related to tax returns. The main ones are: Social Security Number (SSN), Individual Taxpayer ID (ITIN), Filing Status ID, or Electronic Filing PIN. You'll need to be more specific about which number she's looking for. Most likely it's the Electronic Filing PIN if she e-filed, which would have been created during the filing process.

Ah that would be her refund amount and the filing status (single, married, etc). She can find both on her tax return copy - Form 1040 👍

Instead of trying to piece together which number you need, I'd recommend using taxr.ai - it's this new tool that reads your mom's transcript and tells you exactly what you need. It's only $1 and way easier than playing detective. Here's the link: https://taxr.ai

Yeah its legit! Used it last week and it basically gave me a full breakdown of my transcript and told me exactly when to expect my refund

If she filed with TurboTax or HR Block they usually send an email with all this info
