How to track 2024 tax refund in NY? Need help checking status
Just filed my taxes and I'm trying to figure out when my refund will hit my account. I've heard people talking about transcripts but I'm completely lost on how to check this. Can someone walk me through the process? Really need this money soon and getting anxious about the wait.

The transcript method gives you the most detailed info, but it can be confusing to interpret all those codes.

WMR is basic - just tells you if its received, approved, or sent. Transcripts show EVERYTHING - all the codes, dates, amounts, any issues. Much more detailed
