How to track 2024 tax refund in NY? Need help checking status
Just filed my taxes and I'm trying to figure out when my refund will hit my account. I've heard people talking about transcripts but I'm completely lost on how to check this. Can someone walk me through the process? Really need this money soon and getting anxious about the wait.

You have several options to track your refund: 1) Use the Where's My Refund tool on IRS.gov 2) Create an ID.me account to access your tax transcripts directly, or 3) Call the IRS refund hotline at 800-829-1954. The transcript method gives you the most detailed info, but it can be confusing to interpret all those codes.
