Filed Jan 21st - what does my transcript mean? Need help!

I filed my taxes on January 21st and I've been checking my transcript but I have no idea what I'm looking at. I see all these codes and dates but nothing makes sense to me. Can someone help me understand what's going on with my refund?

Your transcript has specific cycle codes and transaction dates that tell us what's happening with your return. Without seeing the actual transcript codes though, it's hard to give you specific guidance. The most common codes you'll see are 150 (return filed), 570 (hold/review), and 846 (refund issued).

ok but how do I know which dates actually matter? its so confusing 😫

The dates on the right side of your transcript are the most important - they show when actions were taken or will be taken

You need to look for ur cycle code. its like a 8 digit number that ends in 05 or 01. That tells u when the irs processes ur stuff
