First time filing taxes - totally lost on IRS transcript codes and what they mean
I filed my taxes for the first time and I'm completely lost looking at my transcript. There's all these different codes and dates that make no sense to me. Can someone help me understand what I'm looking at and if everything is processing normally? When should I expect my refund?

The 971 is like a notice code that explains why the 570 hold was placed. Most of the time these clear up within 1-2 weeks and then you'll see an 846 code when your refund gets released.
