Help! Code 846 just showed up on transcript for 2022 tax return - is this my refund date?
Just checked my transcript this morning and saw a code 846 with a date of 1/10/25. Been waiting since February last year for my refund. Does this mean im finally getting my refund? I need someone to confirm because I dont want to get my hopes up for nothing

Yes! Code 846 is the refund issued code. The date shown is when the refund will be released to your bank. If you have direct deposit set up, you might even see it 1-2 days earlier depending on your bank. Congrats on finally getting movement on your return!
