Just checked my transcripts and noticed code 846 showing up for the first time. Does this mean the money is heading to my account soon? My amount is showing $4,872 with a date of 2/14/2025. Been waiting since May 2024 and really need this money. I also checked the "Where's My Amended Return" tool for my 2023 return and here's what it shows: Received: 11/12/2024 Adjusted: 12/27/2024 Completed: 01/16/2025 The status says "We processed your amended return on January 16, 2025." There's also a message saying "If you have not received a notice and you would like to speak to a customer service representative, call 800-829-0582, extension 633, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. You will need a copy of your amended return." I'm trying to figure out if the 846 code with the 2/14/2025 date means my refund is about to be sent to my account since the amended return was completed on 1/16. The timeline seems to make sense, but I'm anxious because I've been waiting since May 2024 and really need this money.
