Filed with TaxAct, transcript shows 846 code today but SBTPG says no account found. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yep! It suddenly appeared in my account with no warning. The SBTPG site never did update properly for me last year. One day nothing, next day money in my account.

THIS 👆 Their entire business model is taking a slice of your refund for a service that should be free. The whole tax filing industry is a scam.

Facts. Did you know the IRS literally wanted to make a free filing system but TurboTax and H&R Block lobbied against it? They literally make money off our confusion.

Had to keep checking manually. No notification at all. One day it just worked. Their whole operation seems to be running on Windows 95 or something lol

I get that but panicking doesn't make the money come faster. The system is what it is. Some things just take time to process through the banking system.

some of us are literally one missed payment away from serious consequences tho. not everyone has the luxury of patience when they need their refund for essentials

I used Claimyr to get through to the IRS instead (claimyr.com). IRS told me my refund was already sent to SBTPG and they were just dragging their feet on processing. The call got my issue resolved and my refund showed up the next day!

They have some kind of system that keeps calling different IRS numbers until they find one that works. Then they navigate all the prompts and wait on hold for you. When an agent is about to pick up, they call your phone and connect you. Saved me hours of frustration and hold music.
