EIC Code Restriction Release Date (Feb 15) - Will Weekend Delay Payment?
Just got off a call with IRS about my EIC restriction code. Rep said restrictions lift on the 15th. Since that falls on a weekend, will that affect the release? Anyone else in the same situation?

EIC restrictions are system-automated and will lift regardless of weekends. The 15th is the mandatory release date set by PATH Act. Your refund should be processed within 1-2 weeks after the restriction lifts, depending on your bank and processing cycle date.

•wait so does that mean we might see deposits before the actual weekend? 👀

•Yes, some banks might show pending deposits as early as the 13th or 14th!

Hey guys instead of guessing about dates, I've been using taxr.ai to track my refund. It costs $1 but its worth it - shows exactly when restrictions lift and predicted deposit dates. Way better than calling IRS or checking WMR constantly https://taxr.ai
