PATH Act lifting on 17th - Will my 846 code show up on transcript this Friday (weekly) or next week?

Based on historical patterns, you won't see an 846 code this Friday. The PATH Act restriction means the IRS can't issue refunds for EITC claims until after Feb 17th. Even though the transcripts update on Friday, you'll most likely see movement on the 21st or even the 28th depending on your cycle code and processing status.

transcripts updated last night at midnight showing processing date of 2/26. no 846 yet tho

According to my tax preparer, the earliest possible date for any EITC/ACTC refund to hit accounts would be Feb 27th. Even if you see an 846 code next week, the money cant be released before then. Its just how the system works unfortunately
