PATH Act + Cycle 03: When will transcripts update for EIC/ACTC refund?
Filed and accepted on 1/31, PATH Act hold with cycle 03, claimed EIC and ACTC. No 846 code yet. Used TurboTax with 5-day early option. Seeing mixed info about deposit dates between 17th-19th or 22nd-24th. Will transcripts even update before PATH lifts? I'm cycle 03 (daily updates) and last transcript update was Wednesday. Do I need to wait till next Wednesday for any movement?

The PATH Act restriction means no refund movement until after Feb 15th, regardless of your cycle code. Even with daily processing (03 cycle), you won't see an 846 code until PATH lifts. Your WMR probably shows the PATH message. Most EIC/ACTC filers should see updates between Feb 15-17, with deposits following 5-7 days after getting your 846 code.

•Yep, exactly. The 5-day early thing only kicks in AFTER the IRS releases the funds. The IRS is the holdup here, not the bank 😅
