Chime Bank Direct Deposit - 2024 Federal Refund Timing
Has anyone filed their taxes and gotten their federal refund deposited to Chime already? Wondering what the timing is looking like for 2024 refunds with Chime direct deposit. Filed last week and getting antsy checking my account.

Tax professional here - Chime often releases funds 2-5 days earlier than traditional banks once the IRS sends the payment. However, the IRS hasn't started processing 2024 returns until January 29th. The earliest refunds typically start hitting accounts mid-February for simple returns with EITC/ACTC.

•Yes, Chime can only release what the IRS sends them. They're faster at releasing it once received, but can't speed up IRS processing time.
