Anyone in Florida with Chime get their tax refund yet? DDD 4/15 but nothing showing up

I'm in Florida too with Chime. My DDD was 4/12 and I got it around 10:30am on 4/12. Sometimes banks can take until midnight to process the deposit. Give it until tomorrow morning before panicking. The IRS deposit system can be finicky. If it doesn't show by tomorrow afternoon, I'd call Chime and ask if they see any pending deposits to your account.

Chime is notorious for this. They advertise "get your refund up to 5 days early" but in reality they can sometimes be slower than traditional banks. I've been using them for 3 years and it's hit or miss. Last year my refund came a day late, but the year before it was right on time. The WMR tool isn't always accurate - check your transcript on the IRS site if you can access it.

I'm in Georgia not Florida but I have Chime too and my DDD was 4/10 and I still haven't got it yet. Called Chime and they said they don't see anything pending. Called IRS and they said it was sent. Now I'm stuck in limbo with no one taking responsibility. This is why I hate tax season 😡

The best advice I can give you after going through this EXACT situation last year is to check if your bank account details on your tax return are 100% correct. I had one digit wrong in my account number and it caused a 3-week delay while IRS tried to deposit, failed, then mailed me a check instead. Log into your IRS account and verify everything right now.

Not in Florida but I use Chime in Texas. In my experience they usually deposit around 3-5pm Central time on the DDD. If your DDD is today, I wouldn't worry yet. Give it until tomorrow morning before freaking out. If you don't see it by noon tomorrow, then start making calls.

I've had my DDD come anywhere from 2 days early to 3 days late with Chime. Their "up to 5 days early" is really just marketing BS. One thing to check - did you file jointly with a spouse? Sometimes that can cause delays if one of you has any kind of offset (child support, student loans, etc).

Did u check ur transcript??? WMR is trash and inaccurate half the time. Your transcript will show the actual codes and real DDD. I had a similar issue and my transcript showed a hold code that WMR didn't mention at all. Yah feel me?

The IRS "Where's My Refund" tool is the biggest joke. It's been showing "approved" for me for 3 weeks now. I finally broke down and used taxr.ai to actually read my transcript and it turns out they had sent a letter requesting verification 2 weeks ago that I never received! Would have been waiting forever if I hadn't checked. Highly recommend checking your transcript somehow - either through the IRS website or using taxr if you can't access it directly.

With Chime for 4 yearz now. They deposit as soon as IRS releases the $$. If IRS says its sent but not in ur account yet, it might be hung up in ACH processing. Give it 24 hrs before panickin. If still nuthin by tomorro afternoon, CALL THE IRS not Chime. Chime cant do anything until they actually receive the $$$.
