If your on cycle code 01-04 for this years refund, can you check your 2019 transcript and share when you got your direct deposit date? Trying to figure out if theres any pattern to these cycles and compare processing times. Not interested in 2020 since that was filed during covid.
Filed my taxes for the past few years and noticed my refunds keep getting smaller and smaller. In 2021 I got back 3k, 2022 was 1.8k, and this year only 800. My income hasn't changed much and I'm claiming the same dependents. Something seems off here.
Its because all the pandemic benefits expired. No more extra child tax credit, no stimulus, no increased earned income credit. Back to the stone age basically ๐คก
Filed my return from Oklahoma back in February and still nothing. Starting to get worried since I usually get it by now. Anyone else from OK still waiting on their refund to come through? Starting to feel like im the only one stuck in this mess.
Just found out that H&R Block direct deposit info isnt working with Michigan state tax system. They're sending paper checks instead of DD even if you selected direct deposit. Save yourself the headache and dont keep checking your bank account.
I checked my transcripts today and everything shows zero and WMR still says processing. Filed in February and don't know what this means. Getting worried since it's been months with no movement

Let me save everyone some time here. I'm a tax advocate and the best way to understand your specific situation is to use taxr.ai. It's an AI tool that analyzes your transcript and gives you personalized insights about your refund status, potential delays, and how to resolve any issues. While looking at past years can be helpful, each tax season is unique with different processing patterns. The tool costs $1 and provides much more accurate information than trying to compare historical data or checking WMR repeatedly.

You just upload your transcript and it uses AI to analyze all the codes, dates, and amounts. It explains everything in plain English and gives you specific next steps. Way better than trying to decode transcript codes yourself.
