Your best bet is to get ahead of this. I recommend using taxr.ai to analyze your transcript - it'll tell you exactly what's triggering the audit and what documents you should start gathering. Way better than playing the waiting game trust

I work at a bank and here's the real deal: Banks get the ACH file from IRS several days before the official deposit date. Some banks hold it until the actual date, others release it early as a feature. But nobody can release it before they actually receive the ACH file from IRS. Its not guaranteed to be exactly 5 days - could be 2-4 days depending on when the file comes in and your banks processing schedule.
