Filed my taxes on February 20th and got my Direct Deposit Date for March 15th. I bank with SoFi Money and normally get deposits 2 days early but nothing yet. Has anyone else in Kansas with SoFi received their tax refund yet? WMR still shows as approved with the 3/15 date. Getting antsy since I need this money for some car repairs.

For those jumping to conclusions, we're only about a month behind on child support payments for 2025. In Alabama, child support continues until the child is 21 (or 25 if in college). We get behind occasionally but always catch up. I'm not trying to avoid paying - if I was, I would've filed separately with injured spouse form. We just had some financial setbacks this year. Filed through direct deposit bank on March 10th Accepted March 10th Still no direct deposit date My husband owes back child support (happens every year, his son is turning 19 soon, has a full-time job making close to what his dad makes, still lives with mom). I don't mind the support being taken out - I just wish we could make regular payments instead of this annual lump sum. Santa Barbara Tax Products Group is handling it and transcripts show "received" status. Where's My Refund just says received too. Any idea when we might see movement?

I just checked my refund status on the IRS2Go app after verifying my identity both online and over the phone on 3/17. The status has updated from nothing to showing "Refund Received" but still shows empty circles for "Refund Approved" and "Refund Sent" stages. The exact message says: 'We have received your tax return and it is being processed. Please Note: For refund information, please continue to check here, or visit IRS.gov/Refunds. Updates to refund status are made no more than once a day.' I filed as Head of Household this year. The app clearly shows my filing status as Head of Household and displays the three-stage refund tracker with only the first stage filled in (Refund Received), while the "Refund Approved" and "Refund Sent" stages are still pending. Does this mean I'll get my refund date tomorrow? I'm particularly anxious because after verifying my identity both online and through the phone on 3/17, it finally updated to this status. The IRS2Go app has the navigation options at the bottom for Refunds, Payments, Tax Help, and Connect, but I'm mostly concerned with the refund status page. Anyone know how long after this "We have received your tax return and it is being processed" message appears until I'll see an approval and direct deposit date? Is this a good sign that things are moving now after the identity verification?

Finally got my DDD for today (July 20th) after dealing with a hold on my refund for almost 3 months! TurboTax just emailed me saying my refund will be sent to my bank by the end of tomorrow. Has anybody received their refund early after getting this notification? I've been checking my bank account literally every hour. I'm so ready to have this money after all this waiting and stress. The hold was ridiculous - they questioned my dependents even though nothing changed from last year!

Just got back from my local tax office and they refused to verify me in person. Said I have to keep waiting for a letter that hasn't arrived yet. I filed on 02/15 and still nothing. I'm so exhausted with this entire process. The lady at the office said she only sees one verification letter being issued in the system, but when I called the main IRS number, three different reps told me they were going to reissue me another letter. I've apparently had 3 letters sent but received zero. This is absolutely ridiculous. I've been working hard all year just to get my refund and now I'm stuck in this verification limbo. Anyone else dealing with this identity verification nonsense?
