Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle. I've got an Assistance Telephone Meeting coming up for my unemployment claim, and I need to update my phone number before the 26th of this month. Anyone know how to get through to the re-employment service? I've been trying to call but no luck so far. Any tips would be appreciated!

Pro tip: if you can't get through on the main line, try calling your local career center. Sometimes they can help or at least transfer you to someone who can.

DEO not issuing claim payment - need advice for calling
Hey everyone, I'm having a problem with my unemployment claim payment not being issued. I filed my claim a while back but haven't received any payments yet. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on what I should say when I call the DEO to get this sorted out?

Hey OP, when exactly did you file your claim? There was a glitch in the system about a month ago that caused some claims to get stuck. Might be worth mentioning that when you call.
I filed about 6 weeks ago. Thanks for the heads up about the glitch, I'll definitely bring that up!
Unpopular opinion: maybe try going to the office in person if you can? I know its a pain, but I got my issue resolved in one day by showing up. Just bring a book and be prepared to wait.

Some offices are open for limited in-person services. Check the DEO website for locations near you. It's not advertised much, but it's an option.
DEO payments on hold since Nov, still in adjudication. No explanation given. Help!
Hey everyone, I'm really frustrated. My unemployment payments have been on hold since November last year and I'm still seeing a message saying it's in adjudication. I've received some letters from the unemployment office but they don't explain why this is happening. Has anyone else dealt with this? Any advice on how to get this resolved?

Pro tip: if you get through to someone who can't help, don't hang up! Ask them to transfer you to the right department. Sometimes they can get you through faster than if you called again.
