Need help with DEO adjudication decision - tips for reaching a human?
Hey everyone, I'm dealing with an adjudication decision from the unemployment office and I need to speak with someone. Has anyone had any luck getting through to a real person? I've been trying for days and keep getting stuck in the automated system. Any tips or tricks would be really appreciated!

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been trying to get through for weeks now. It's like they don't want us to actually talk to anyone. Have you tried calling right when they open? I heard that might work but haven't had any luck myself.

ā¢I tried that too. No dice. It's like playing the lottery, except the prize is just talking to a human being š

ā¢Same here. I even set an alarm for 5 minutes before they open. Still nothing. This system is so broken.

ā¢Yeah, I've tried early mornings too. No luck so far. It's so frustrating!

I actually found a method that works! There's this service called Claimyr (claimyr.com) that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, and then calls you when a real person picks up. It costs $20, but it saved me hours of frustration. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/AsdxiF0IH1k

ā¢Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

ā¢Is this legit? $20 seems steep just to make a phone call.

ā¢I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. The $20 was worth it to finally get my issue resolved. They don't ask for any personal info beyond your phone number.

Here's what I've learned from dealing with the unemployment office for months: ā¢ Call early in the week (Monday or Tuesday) if possible ā¢ Have all your info ready before you call (claim number, dates, etc.) ā¢ Be polite but persistent with the rep you get ā¢ If one person can't help, ask to speak with a supervisor ā¢ Keep a log of all your calls and who you spoke with ā¢ Follow up any phone conversations with an email for documentation Hope this helps someone! It's a frustrating process but don't give up.

ā¢Great advice. I wish I'd known all this when I started my claim. Would've saved me so much headache.

has anyone else noticed that the website is always "under maintenance" when you need it most? I swear they do it on purpose š¤

I'm in the same boat. Been waiting on an adjudication decision for 3 months now. This whole system is a joke. How are we supposed to survive while they take their sweet time?

ā¢3 months?! That's insane. Have you tried contacting your local representative? Sometimes they can help speed things up.

ā¢No, I haven't thought of that. Good idea, I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

Pro tip: if you get through to someone who can't help, don't hang up! Ask them to transfer you to the right department. Sometimes they can get you through faster than if you called again.

Anyone else feel like they need a degree in bureaucracy just to navigate this system? I swear, half the battle is learning their lingo and decoding all the acronyms š¤£

ā¢LOL for real tho. I feel like I could write a dissertation on unemployment claims at this point.

ā¢Seriously! And don't even get me started on all the different forms. It's like they're trying to make it as confusing as possible.
