Need to speak with live EDD agent ASAP - automated system not cutting it. Any tips?

I need to get paid ASAP. I've been trying to reach someone at the unemployment office for days now. Every time I call, I just get an automated system. I really need to speak with a live person to resolve this issue. Has anyone had any luck getting through to a real human? Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated. I'm getting desperate here.

I found a way to solve unemployment office contact issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4vD-8fgTWI

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been in the same boat for weeks now. It's like they don't want us to actually get our benefits šŸ™„

Seriously! It's like they're purposely making it difficult. I've spent hours on hold only to get disconnected.

Have you tried calling right when they open? I heard thats the best time to get through

Yeah, I've tried that. No luck. It's always busy or I get stuck in the automated system. šŸ˜«

I found a method that actually works to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

20 bucks? Thats kinda steep when were already struggling financially...

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. After weeks of trying, I finally got through to a real person. Worth every penny imo

How long did you have to wait after using the service?

It took about 2 hours, but I didn't have to sit there listening to hold music. They called me when an agent was on the line.

Here's what I've learned after dealing with this for months: ā€¢ Call early in the morning, right when they open ā€¢ If you get through to the automated system, try pressing 0 repeatedly ā€¢ Use multiple phones to call at the same time (increases your chances) ā€¢ Be persistent and don't give up ā€¢ Check their website for any updates or new contact methods ā€¢ Consider reaching out to your local representative for help It's a frustrating process, but keep at it. Eventually, you'll get through to someone who can help.

Contacting my rep actually worked for me! They were able to escalate my case.

This whole system is a joke. They expect us to survive on nothing while they take their sweet time 'processing' our claims. šŸ¤¬

Preach! šŸ‘ It's like they forget we have bills to pay and families to feed.

I heard they're understaffed due to budget cuts. Doesn't excuse the poor service, but might explain why it's so hard to get through.

That makes sense, but it's still not fair to those of us who are struggling. They need to fix this asap

Pro tip: if you have Twitter, try tweeting at their official account. Sometimes they respond faster there.

Really? I'll have to try that. Thanks for the tip!
