Money Network account compromised & closed - need help transferring funds & filing claim!
Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a panic here. Yesterday I tried to log into my Money Network account and realized someone had changed my password and security questions. Turns out my account was compromised and they closed it! Now I'm trying to figure out how to transfer my funds and file a claim. Has anyone dealt with this before? Any advice on what steps I should take or who I should contact? I'm really worried about my money and don't know where to start.

Oh man, that sucks! I had something similar happen to me last year. First thing you need to do is contact Money Network customer service ASAP. They should have a fraud department that can help you out. Make sure you have all your account info ready when you call.

•Thanks for the advice! Did you have any trouble getting through to them? I've heard their customer service can be a nightmare to reach.

•Pro tip: call early in the morning right when they open. Usually shorter wait times then.

Ugh, these scammers are getting worse every day! 🤬 Make sure you change passwords on ALL your accounts, especially if you used the same one for multiple sites. And enable two-factor authentication everywhere you can!

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

•I was skeptical at first too, but I tried it and it actually worked. Saved me hours of hold time.

•20 bucks tho? 😬 Seems steep just to make a phone call.

•I get it, but for me it was worth it. Time is money, ya know? 🤷♂️

Here's what you need to do: 1. Contact Money Network immediately. Call their fraud hotline if they have one. 2. File a police report. You'll need this for the claim process. 3. Check your credit report for any suspicious activity. 4. Gather all documentation related to your account - statements, emails, etc. 5. Keep a log of all conversations with Money Network. 6. Consider placing a freeze on your credit. 7. Change passwords on ALL your accounts, especially your email. 8. Set up fraud alerts with the major credit bureaus. Stay calm and be persistent. It might take some time, but you'll get through this!

•Great advice! I'd add: check if your employer offers any identity theft protection services. Some companies provide this as a benefit.

Have you checked if Money Network has a chat support option on their website? Sometimes its easier to get through that way than calling.

•Months?! 😱 That's terrifying. Did you eventually get all your money back?

•Yeah, eventually. But it was a huge headache. Document EVERYTHING.

Plot twist: what if OP is the scammer trying to figure out how to access someone else's account? 🤔

Anyone else think its weird that Money Network just closed the account without contacting OP first? Seems kinda sus to me.

•For real tho. They should have some kind of alert system in place.

•Maybe they tried to contact OP but the scammer changed all the contact info? 🤷♀️
