Lost my EDD Money Network card - need customer service number on back of card

I just realized I misplaced my EDD debit card and can't find it anywhere. I know there's a customer service number on the back of the card that I need to call to report it lost and get a replacement. I've searched the EDD website but can't seem to find this specific number. Can someone who has their card handy please share the customer service number that's printed on the back? I have pending payments I need to access ASAP and I'm worried someone might use my card if they find it. Thanks!

just call 866-692-9374, thats the money network number. they'll cancel ur old card and send u a new one

Thank you so much! Do you know how long it typically takes to get the replacement card?

The customer service number for the Money Network card (EDD debit card) is 1-866-692-9374. You'll need to report your card lost right away so they can deactivate it and issue a new one. Make sure you have your Social Security number and EDD account information handy when you call. They may ask you security questions to verify your identity before they can help you. The replacement typically takes 7-10 business days to arrive, but they can expedite it for an additional fee if you're in a rush.

This is really helpful, thank you! I'll call them right away. Do you know if there's any way to access my funds while I wait for the replacement card to arrive? I have bills coming up soon.

I LOST MY CARD TWICE LAST YEAR!! The MoneyNetwork ppl are HORRIBLE to deal with!! took them 3 WEEKS to send my replacement and they charge $10 for expedited shipping which still took 5 days!!! The number is 1-866-692-9374 but GOOD LUCK getting through to a real person!!! SO FRUSTRATING!!

Oh no, that sounds terrible! I really need access to my funds sooner than 3 weeks. Did you find any tricks to getting through to a real person faster?

When I lost my card last month, I spent hours trying to get through to Money Network customer service. I finally discovered Claimyr (claimyr.com) which helped me get connected to a rep in about 20 minutes instead of spending all day calling and getting disconnected. They have a video showing how it works at https://youtu.be/JmuwXR7HA10?si=TSwYbu_GOwYzt9km. After I got through, Money Network sent my replacement card and I had it within a week. Just make sure to request the expedited shipping if you need it urgently.

The number is 1-866-692-9374 for Money Network. Just curious, have you checked to see if you can transfer the money to a bank account instead of using the card? I know some people prefer direct deposit over the debit card method. Might be worth looking into for the future so you don't have to worry about losing the card again.

That's a really good suggestion! I didn't even think about setting up direct deposit. I'll definitely ask about that when I call to report my card lost. Would be much easier than dealing with a physical card.

I had the same issue last year and while the number is 1-866-692-9374 as others mentioned, I recommend also setting up the Money Network mobile app if you haven't already. Even with a lost physical card, you can sometimes still access your account information through the app. Also, for future reference, you can set up direct deposit through your UI Online account under

wait you can check your balance on an app? omg i been calling the automated line this whole time lol

I lost mine twice last year. First time wasn't so bad but second time took forever!!! btw if u have any funds on the card you should still be able to use the account number and routing number to transfer money even without the physical card. That's what I did while waiting for my replacement. Just need to log into your Money Network account online.

That's brilliant! I didn't know I could transfer funds without the physical card. I'll try to set that up today. Thanks for the tip!

Just wanted to follow up and mention that if you're having trouble reaching a representative, try calling right when they open at 8 AM Pacific Time. The wait times are usually much shorter then. Also, when you get your new card, I recommend taking a picture of both sides (front and back) and storing it securely so you'll always have the account information and customer service number handy. Just make sure to store it somewhere secure since it contains sensitive information.

TAKING A PICTURE IS NOT SECURE!!! Someone could hack your phone and get all your card info!! NEVER do this!!! Write it down on paper and keep it somewhere safe instead!!!

A secure password-protected notes app is actually quite safe for storing this kind of information. But you're right that basic security precautions should be taken. Another option is to just save the customer service number in your contacts rather than photographing the entire card.

Update: I called the Money Network number (1-866-692-9374) and after about an hour on hold, I was able to report my card lost and request a replacement. They said it will take 7-10 business days for standard shipping or 3-5 business days with expedited shipping ($10 fee). I also set up direct deposit for future payments as suggested here. Thanks everyone for your help! Really appreciate the quick responses and advice.

Glad you got it sorted out! Direct deposit is definitely the way to go.
