When debit card is locked, usually boa unlock, but occasionally, boa requires to call and get a and get back to boa to unlock. I haven't had a card lock issue but I heard from some other claimants. I'm not sure tier 1 also can help you with but I always speak with tier 2 because tier 2 has more abilities than tier 1 so they fix most claim issues, account issues. •Yes, I agree. Normally BOA unlocks a debit card but I've seen some other said boa advised to contact to get a code. So it's not always 100% boa helps...

•When the card locks you have to find your nearest boa go inside and tell them you want to verify yourself with to forms of identity I took my drivers license and social security card and they are going to update your info and call card holder services and confirm it’s you and then they will unlock your card

I had the same issue last month! kept transferring me to BOA and BOA kept saying to call - it was so frustrating. What finally worked for me was going directly to a of America branch with two forms of ID (driver's license and Social Security card). They were able to verify my identity in person and unlock my card immediately. The whole process took about 15 minutes. I know it's inconvenient to go in person, but it saved me hours of being transferred back and forth on the phone. Hope this helps!
