EDD Card Still Not Received After Filing Unemployment Claim - Help!

Ugh, I feel your pain. I was in the same boat a few months ago. Have you tried calling the EDD? Fair warning though, it's like trying to win the lottery getting through to them.

Have you checked your mail carefully? Sometimes the card comes in a really plain envelope that looks like junk mail. I almost threw mine away by accident!

The whole system is a joke. I've been waiting for my card for 2 months now. Every time I call, they tell me it's 'in process'. What does that even mean? 🤬

idk if this helps but I saw on twitter that EDD is having major backlogs due to fraud prevention measures. Might explain the delay 🤷‍♂️

Anyone else think its crazy that in 2023 were still using physical cards for this? Why cant they just do direct deposit like a normal job smh
