Need help with EDD reapplication process - when should I reapply?
Hey everyone, I'm trying to reapply for benefits but I'm not sure when I last did it. Can anyone help me figure out how often we need to reapply? I'm worried I might have missed a deadline or something.

Quick question: does anyone know if reapplying affects your weekly benefit amount? I'm worried it might go down if I reapply.
It can change based on your recent work history. If you earned less in the past year, it might go down. But it could also go up if you earned more!

EDD payments stopped for 2 weeks despite on-time certification - what to do?
Hey everyone, I'm having a problem with my unemployment payments. For the last 2 weeks, I haven't received any money even though I've been certifying on time and everything seems to go through successfully. Has anyone else experienced this? Oof, account lockouts are the worst. Here's what I'd try: 1. Password reset (obvi) 2. Check your email for any notifications from EDD 3. Try logging in from a different device or browser 4. Clear your cache and cookies 5. If all else fails, call their support line Hope this helps! Let us know if you get it sorted.

I handled it myself, but I've heard some people have success with lawyers. Depends on how complicated your case is, I guess.

Pro tip: if you're having trouble with SDI, try reaching out to them on Twitter. Sometimes their social media team is more responsive than their phone lines. Worth a shot! 🤷♂️
