Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Here's what you need to know about extended benefits: • They're only available when unemployment is high in your state • You must have exhausted your regular unemployment insurance • Your benefit amount might be different from your regular UI • You'll need to continue certifying for benefits weekly • They may ask about your job search efforts Be prepared to answer questions about why you think you qualify. Have you been actively looking for work? Did you turn down any job offers? These things can affect your eligibility. Also, keep in mind that the rules for extended benefits can change based on state and federal laws. What was true a few months ago might not be the case now. Good luck with your call! idk if this helps, but I had a similar issue last year. Turns out they had my birthdate wrong in the system which flagged my account for review. Might be worth double-checking all your personal info is correct.

Anyone else notice that the EDD website is down... again? 🙄 How are we supposed to check our claim status if the site never works?

Try using incognito mode or clearing your cache. Sometimes that helps me get in.
I'm in the same boat as OP, finally got through yesterday! Here's what worked for me: - Call right at 8:01 AM - If you get the "too many callers" message, hang up and redial immediately - Use the 2511 number and press 1, then 2, then 4 - Have all your info ready (SSN, claim date, last employer, etc.) - Be super nice to the rep, they deal with angry people all day Hope this helps someone else! Don't give up, you'll get through eventually!

Not to be that guy, but have you checked their website? Sometimes they post system outage updates there. Might save you some time if their whole system is down.
