Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Hey OP, just a heads up - make sure you've been certifying for benefits regularly, even if you're not currently receiving them. It can affect your ability to reopen the claim smoothly.

OP, how long has it been since you requested the replacement checks? Sometimes it can take up to 10 business days for them to process and mail them out.
It's been about 3 weeks now. I know they said it could take some time, but I'm getting really anxious about it.
Ah, gotcha. Yeah, that's definitely past the normal timeframe. Def try some of the other suggestions here, especially contacting your assemblymember.

Try calling first thing in the morning, like right when they open. Sometimes you can catch someone before the lines get crazy.
I emailed them every day until they responded. Squeaky wheel gets the grease and all that 🤷♂️
