Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

AI systems can indeed speed up processing, but they need to be properly calibrated to avoid incorrect denials. Let's hope if this is true, it improves efficiency without sacrificing accuracy.
Have you tried calling them? Sometimes you can get more info if you talk to a rep directly.
Calling is a waste of time. I spent hours trying to get through last week. Better off just waiting it out.
Actually, I found a way to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's the link: https://claimyr.com

Quick question for anyone who's been through this recently - are they still requiring the extra identity verification steps? I heard they added some new requirements and I'm trying to prepare.
Yeah, they are. Make sure you have a clear photo of your ID and a recent utility bill or bank statement. They're pretty strict about it.

Here's what you need to know about extended benefits: • They're only available when unemployment is high in your state • You must have exhausted your regular unemployment insurance • Your benefit amount might be different from your regular UI • You'll need to continue certifying for benefits weekly • They may ask about your job search efforts Be prepared to answer questions about why you think you qualify. Have you been actively looking for work? Did you turn down any job offers? These things can affect your eligibility. Also, keep in mind that the rules for extended benefits can change based on state and federal laws. What was true a few months ago might not be the case now. Good luck with your call! guys i think i figured it out. if you press 2, then 4, then wait 30 seconds and press 1, you can sometimes get through to a real person. its not guaranteed but ive had some luck with it
