If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

lol good luck dealing with the bureaucracy. I swear they make it complicated on purpose 🙄

ikr? It's like they want us to give up and not take the leave we're entitled to 😤

Has anyone had luck getting their case out of pending status quickly? I've been waiting for weeks and I'm starting to panic...

Try calling first thing in the morning, like right when they open. Sometimes you can catch someone before the lines get crazy.

I emailed them every day until they responded. Squeaky wheel gets the grease and all that 🤷‍♂️

Heads up, they might try to lowball you on the c-section recovery time. My wife's doctor recommended 8 weeks, but they initially only approved 6. We had to appeal to get the full time. Don't be afraid to push back if needed!

This! 👆 Same thing happened to us. Definitely advocate for yourself.

idk if this helps, but I found their website actually had some decent info when I could get it to load properly. Might be worth checking out while your waiting to get through on the phone.

I'm an EDD employee (not official capacity here). The system is super backed up right now due to budget cuts and increased claims. We're doing our best, but it's tough. My advice: make sure all your docs are in order and keep trying to reach out. Sorry you're dealing with this. 😕

Thanks for the insider perspective. Must be rough on your end too. Any tips for getting through the phone system?

Honestly, early mornings are usually best. Like right when we open. But it's still a crapshoot.

I'm in the same boat, been waiting since December. Starting to wonder if I should just give up and go back to work without the benefits. This is so stressful.

Don't give up! That's what they want. Keep fighting for what you're entitled to. We're all rooting for you! 💪

Has anyone tried showing up in person at an EDD office? I'm considering camping out overnight if that's what it takes to get this resolved.

0 coins

I tried that last month. They just gave me a paper form and told me to mail it in. Total waste of time. 🙄

Ugh, seriously? That's so frustrating. Thanks for saving me a trip.

lol welcome to the club 🤡 EDD is a joke these days

Have you tried reaching out to your local state representative? Sometimes they can help push things along with EDD. Worth a shot!

0 coins

I hadn't even considered that. How would I go about contacting them?

0 coins

Just google your address + 'state representative'. Most have a contact form on their website. Explain your situation and ask if they can help. They often have staff dedicated to helping constituents with state agency issues.
