Guys, I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Pro tip: if you can't get through on the phone, try reaching out to your local assembly member's office. They often have direct lines to EDD and can help push things through faster.

ugh, the EDD system is such a mess rn. I've been trying to fix an issue with my claim for MONTHS. feels like im screaming into the void 😫

Here's what worked for me: 1. Call right when they open (8am I think?) 2. If you get the "too many callers" message, hang up and immediately redial 3. Keep doing this until you get in the queue 4. Once you're in, DO NOT HANG UP no matter how long the wait 5. Be super nice to the rep when you finally get one It took me about 2 hours of redialing, but I finally got through. Hope this helps!
