FMLA claim filed over a month ago, no payment or updates. What to do?

I filed my FMLA claim over a month ago and still haven't received any payment. I submitted it both online and by mail, but I haven't heard anything back. No notifications about missing documents or verification issues either. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on what I should do next?

I found a way to solve FMLA claim payment delay issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXmNxFycP6M

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. It's been 6 weeks for me and radio silence. The system is so broken 🤦‍♂️

6 weeks? Amateur hour. Try 3 months with no update 😭

Here's what worked for me: 1. Call first thing in the morning, right when they open. 2. Have all your docs ready - claim number, SSN, etc. 3. Be polite but firm. Ask to speak to a supervisor if needed. 4. Keep a log of all your calls and who you spoke to. 5. Follow up with an email after each call to create a paper trail. It took me a few tries, but I finally got through and resolved my issue. Don't give up!

This is solid advice. I'd add: use the online portal to upload any missing docs ASAP.

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds sketchy. Is this legit?

Totally legit. I was skeptical too, but it saved me hours of hold time. Worth every penny.

How does it work exactly? Do they give you a specific time for the callback?

@profile 9 You choose a time slot, and they call within that window. Super convenient.

Have you checked your spam folder? Sometimes important emails end up there. Also, make sure your contact info is up to date in their system.

Pro tip: reach out to your local state representative's office. They can often help expedite these claims. Worked like a charm for me!

Anybody else feel like were living in a kafka novel trying to deal with this bureaucracy? 🤔

Hey OP, did you get the confirmation email after submitting online? If not, your claim might not have gone through properly.

Yeah, I got the confirmation. That's why I'm so confused about the silence since then.

Hmm, sounds like it might be stuck in processing then. Def try calling or using that claimyr thing someone mentioned.
