EDD website won't let me upload Part C for paid family leave claim - Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble uploading documents for my paid family leave claim. I can log into the system, but when I try to click on my claim to upload Part C, it won't let me. I've tried different devices, but no luck. Any ideas on how to fix this? I'm worried about delays in my application.

Ugh, I feel your pain! The EDD website is such a nightmare sometimes. Have you tried clearing your cache? That sometimes helps with weird glitches like this.

•Thanks for the suggestion! I'm not super tech-savvy, but I'll give it a shot. Do you know how to clear cache on an Android phone?

•Sure thing! For Android, open Chrome, tap the three dots, go to History, then Clear browsing data. Make sure to select 'Cached images and files' before hitting Clear data. Hope that helps!

Have you tried contacting EDD directly? I know its a pain to get through, but they might be able to help with technical issues.

•I've been trying to avoid that because I've heard horror stories about wait times. But you're right, I might have to bite the bullet if nothing else works.

I had a similar issue last month. Turns out it was a browser compatibility thing. Try using Microsoft Edge if you have it - for some reason, that worked for me when nothing else did.

This might sound crazy, but have you tried turning your phone off and on again? Sometimes a good ol' restart can fix weird glitches like this. 🤷♂️

•No worries, we've all been there! Let me know if it works. If not, we'll brainstorm some more tech wizardry for ya 🧙♂️

Hey, I found a method to get someone on the phone at EDD. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit? Has anyone else tried it?

•I was skeptical at first too, but it really worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imho.

The EDD system is such a joke. 🤡 I swear they make it difficult on purpose to discourage people from claiming benefits. Hang in there, OP!

Here's a comprehensive guide to troubleshooting EDD website issues: 1. Clear your browser cache and cookies 2. Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) 3. Use a desktop computer instead of a mobile device if possible 4. Check for any browser extensions that might be interfering 5. Ensure your internet connection is stable 6. Try accessing the site during off-peak hours (early morning or late night) 7. Use incognito/private browsing mode 8. Update your browser to the latest version 9. Temporarily disable your antivirus or firewall 10. If all else fails, contact EDD technical support Hope this helps someone out there struggling with the same issues!

I feel ya, buddy. The EDD website is about as user-friendly as a cactus. 🌵 Keep at it, though. You'll get through eventually!

•Lol, that cactus analogy is spot on! 😂 Thanks for the encouragement!

I had this exact same problem a few weeks ago! What worked for me was logging out completely, then logging back in and trying again. Also make sure you're not using any ad blockers or pop-up blockers - they can interfere with the upload functionality. The EDD site is super finicky about that stuff. If you're still having trouble, try uploading during off-peak hours like early morning (6-8 AM) when fewer people are on the system. Good luck!

•Thanks for the tip about logging out and back in! I didn't think about ad blockers potentially interfering - I do have one running. I'll try disabling it and see if that helps. The early morning suggestion is smart too, I bet the system is way less bogged down then. Really appreciate the detailed advice!

I ran into this same issue a couple months ago and it was SO frustrating! What finally worked for me was using a desktop computer with Firefox instead of my phone. For some reason, the mobile version of the EDD site just doesn't play nice with file uploads. Also, make sure your PDF isn't too large - I think there's a file size limit that isn't clearly posted anywhere. If you have access to a computer, try that first before going through the hassle of calling EDD. The whole system is a mess but hang in there, you'll get it sorted! 💪

•This is super helpful, thank you! I've been trying to do everything on my phone which is probably my first mistake. I'll definitely try using a desktop with Firefox - I hadn't thought about browser compatibility being an issue. And good point about the file size! I should probably check that too. It's reassuring to know I'm not the only one who's dealt with this headache. Thanks for the encouragement! 🙏
