EDD Claim Paid Out - Can I Cancel Pending Callback?
Hey everyone, I just got my claim paid out today but I already put in an order for a callback. Does anyone know if I can cancel it or if I even need to talk to them anymore? Not sure what to do now.

Congrats on getting your claim paid! 🎉 As for the callback, it depends on what system you used. Some places let you cancel, others don't. Might be worth checking their website or giving them a quick call to see if you can cancel. But hey, if you can't cancel, no biggie. Just let them know when they call that you're all set!

I found a method to get someone on the phone quickly. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit? Anyone else tried it?

•Yep, it's legit! I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of hold time. Worth every penny imo

•I get it, but think about how much time you waste on hold. For me, time is money, and this saved me a ton of headache

Ugh, I wish I had your problem. Still waiting on my claim to be processed. Been 8 weeks now. Anyone know how to speed things up? 😫

Pro tip: Always keep the callback even if your issue is resolved. You never know what other questions might come up or if there's something you overlooked. It's a rare chance to actually talk to a human!

•This! 💯 I thought my issue was resolved once, cancelled the callback, and then realized I had more questions. Had to start the whole process over again 🤦♂️

Here's what you need to know about cancelling callbacks and what to do after your claim is paid: 1. Cancellation policies vary: Some systems allow cancellations, others don't. Check their website or call the main line to inquire. 2. If you can't cancel: Don't stress. When they call, simply explain your situation has been resolved. 3. Post-payment steps: - Double-check all details are correct - Set up direct deposit if you haven't already - Keep all documentation for tax purposes - Stay informed about ongoing claim requirements 4. Future considerations: - You might have questions later, so keeping the callback could be useful - If you're expecting more payments, discuss the schedule with the agent 5. Be prepared: Even if your current issue is resolved, have a list of any potential questions ready. This is a rare chance to speak with a representative directly. Remember, it's always better to have more information than less. Use this opportunity wisely!

•Totally agree. We need to push for better systems and more staff. This is ridiculous in 2023
