SDI claim stuck due to physician info issue - need advice
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my SDI claim. I submitted all the paperwork but it looks like there might be an issue with my physician's details. Has anyone else run into this problem? Any advice on what I should do next?

Ugh, been there done that. The SDI system is such a mess! 🤦♂️ Your best bet is to contact your doctor ASAP and double-check all their info. Then resubmit the certificate. It's a pain, but it's the only way to get things moving.

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

•20 bucks? Idk man, seems kinda steep for just a phone call.

•I get the skepticism, but honestly, after spending hours trying to get through, it was worth every penny. Saved me so much time and frustration.

•Can confirm, I used it last week. Expensive but beats wasting an entire day on hold.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Call your doctor's office 2. Ask them to verify all the information they submitted 3. If there are any errors, have them correct it 4. Get a new certificate with the correct info 5. Resubmit to SDI It's a hassle, but it's the fastest way to resolve the issue. Also, keep ALL your paperwork and correspondence. You never know when you might need it later. Pro tip: If you can, try to get a direct contact at your doctor's office. Having a specific person to email can speed things up a lot. Good luck!

•Great advice! I'd add: take notes of every convo you have with SDI or your doc's office. Names, dates, what was said. It'll save you if things get messy later.

•Totally agree. We're already dealing with health issues, why make it harder? 🤷♂️

Quick question - how long ago did you submit your claim? Sometimes it just takes forever for them to process stuff.

•I submitted it about 3 weeks ago. Is that normal processing time?

•3 weeks isn't too bad actually. I've heard of ppl waiting 6-8 weeks! But def follow up if you haven't heard anything.

Pro tip: Draft an email to your doctor explaining the situation and asking them to verify the info. It's easier for them to respond to an email than play phone tag. Plus, you'll have a paper trail. Win-win! 💯
