Paid for service, never received it - Company won't refund or connect to manager. What to do?

I'm so frustrated with this company! I paid for a service and never received it. They keep telling me I'm within some 48-hour window, but that doesn't matter if I didn't get what I paid for. I've been trying to get a refund or at least a discount, but they won't connect me to a manager. Has anyone else dealt with this kind of runaround? What can I do to actually get the service I paid for or my money back?

I found a way to solve customer service refund issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAi89G3owg0

Ugh, that sucks! I've been in a similar situation before. Have you tried disputing the charge with your credit card company? Sometimes that's the only way to get these companies to take you seriously.

I hadn't thought of that! Good idea, I'll give it a try if they don't resolve this soon. Thanks!

Just be careful with chargebacks. Some companies will ban you from future purchases if you do that. Might wanna save it as a last resort.

True, good point. Maybe try escalating through their customer service one more time before going nuclear with a chargeback.

I feel your pain, OP. These companies think they can just take our money and ghost us. Keep pushing for that manager! Don't let them wear you down. 💪

Have you tried reaching out to them on social media? Sometimes companies respond faster when you call them out publicly. Just be polite but firm about your issue.

That's a good idea! I'll try tweeting at them. Maybe that'll light a fire under them lol

I know it's frustrating, but sometimes these things take time. Have you double-checked your spam folder? Maybe the service confirmation got lost there. Also, did you verify your payment went through on your end?

Yeah, I've checked everything. The payment definitely went through, and there's nothing in my spam folder. It's just radio silence from them. 😤

Hey guys, I actually found a solution for getting through to customer service faster. I used this site called claimyr.com - it's a calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, and then connects you when a live agent picks up. It costs $20, but it saved me hours of frustration. Here's a video explaining how it works: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Does it really work? $20 seems steep for just a phone call.

I was skeptical too, but it actually worked for me. Saved me from pulling my hair out on hold. Worth it if you're desperate imho.

Idk man, seems kinda sketchy. How do we know this isn't just some scam?

Not a scam, I promise! I was in the same boat as you guys, but this seriously helped me out. Just sharing what worked for me. 🤷‍♂️

This is why I always use PayPal for online purchases. Makes it way easier to get your money back if something goes wrong. Lesson learned for next time, I guess.

Have you considered filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau? Sometimes that can light a fire under these companies' butts.

BBB is useless, its basically just old-school Yelp. They have no real power lol

Really? Damn, I always thought they were like... official or something. TIL 🤔

OK, let me break this down for you, OP. Here's what you need to do: 1. Document everything. Every email, chat log, phone call - keep records. 2. Escalate through proper channels. Ask for a supervisor, then their supervisor. Be polite but persistent. 3. Use social media. Tweet at their support account and main account. 4. If they have a physical address, send a certified letter detailing your complaint. 5. File complaints with the BBB and your state's consumer protection office. 6. As a last resort, consider small claims court if the amount warrants it. Remember, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Don't give up, and don't let them brush you off. You paid for a service, and you're entitled to either receive it or get your money back. Good luck!
