MA DUA identity verification nightmare - Tips for reaching a real person?

Has anyone else had trouble getting their identity verified? I've been trying to get through to someone for days now. I paid for a service to help me get through but it didn't work the first time. They said I could use the same payment for 48 hours, but now I'm not sure if it's actually going to work. This whole process is so frustrating! Anyone have any tips on how to actually talk to a real person?

I found a way to solve identity verification for unemployment benefits, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuQYQ5IzBWo

I actually found a method that worked for me! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/ok4BhTU0_EI

Wow, really? That sounds too good to be true. Did it actually work for you?

Yep, it did! Took about an hour and a half, but I finally got to talk to someone. Worth every penny imo.

Idk man, sounds kinda sketchy. How do you know it's legit?

I was skeptical too, but I researched it before using. They have good reviews and a money-back guarantee. Plus, it worked for me, so ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

It's always good to check reviews and be cautious with paid services like this. At least they offer a money-back guarantee.

Ugh, the identity verification process is such a joke. I've been dealing with this for MONTHS. It's like they don't want us to get our benefits. Has anyone tried contacting their local representative? I've heard that can sometimes help.

I tried that! My rep's office was actually pretty helpful. They couldn't solve everything, but they did give me some good info and escalated my case.

Oh really? Maybe I'll give that a shot. At this point, I'm willing to try anything ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

Contacting a local representative is a great tip. They often have resources or contacts that can expedite the process.

Y'all ever think about how we could probably solve world hunger in the time it takes to get through to an EDD rep? ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ”

I heard a rumor that if you say 'representative' three times while spinning in a circle and sacrificing a goat, you'll instantly be connected to a live agent. Anyone tried this yet? ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”„๐Ÿ“ž

LOL if only it were that easy. I'd be out buying a goat rn ๐Ÿคฃ

As hilarious as these 'solutions' are, it underscores just how absurd the situation feels for many.

I feel ya, buddy. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. The identity verification process is a total nightmare. I spent weeks trying to get through to someone. It's like they're purposely making it difficult ๐Ÿ™„

I hear you loud and clear. It's ridiculous how convoluted the process is just to speak to someone. Have you tried using any online chat support options or social media to get their attention?

lol welcome to the club, buddy. We're all in the same leaky boat here. ๐Ÿšฃโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ’ฆ Just keep swimming and eventually you'll reach the shore... or drown trying. ๐ŸŠโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Here's what worked for me after weeks of trying: 1. Call exactly at 8:00 AM when they open 2. If you get the 'too many callers' message, hang up and immediately redial 3. Keep doing this until you get into the queue 4. Once in the queue, DO NOT HANG UP no matter how long the wait is 5. Have all your docs ready (ID, SSN, any correspondence they've sent you) 6. Be polite but firm with the rep you get It took me about 2 hours of redialing and then another 3 hours on hold, but I finally got through and got my issue resolved. Stay strong and keep trying!

This is great info, but man, it's ridiculous that we have to jump through so many hoops just to get what we're entitled to. The system is broken af ๐Ÿ˜ค

Thanks for the sympathy. It's just so frustrating. I thought paying for a service would help, but now I'm not even sure if that's going to work. Has anyone else tried using a paid service to get through?

Wait, you paid for a service? What kind of service? I didn't even know that was an option. How much did it cost?

Paolo Longo

Yeah, I found this site called claimyr.com. It's supposed to dial the phone menu, stay on hold, and then connect you when a real person picks up. It costs $20, which seemed worth it if it actually works.

$20?! That's crazy. We shouldn't have to pay extra just to talk to someone about our benefits. The system is so broken ๐Ÿ˜ก

It's frustrating, but sometimes these services can save time. It's good to hear from others who've tried it to see if it's worth it.

Have you tried calling right when they open? I've heard that's the best time to get through. Also, make sure you have all your documents ready before you call. They'll ask for a ton of info.

I'm telling you, the real conspiracy isn't flat earth or lizard people. It's that the EDD is actually run by a bunch of sloths who are secretly trying to drive us all insane. ๐Ÿฆฅ๐Ÿคช

It's unfortunate you're having these difficulties, but you're not alone. Many have faced similar issues, with the system being overwhelmed, especially in recent times. Services like Claimyr can indeed be helpful, as they often have the infrastructure to navigate busy phone lines and connect you with a real person, but they're not without their drawbacks, such as cost and occasional inefficacy. It's always best to weigh these options against possible free alternatives, such as calling at off-peak times or seeking assistance through legislative channels. Claimyr offers a money-back guarantee, which is reassuring, but it's also wise to read reviews and gather recommendations from others before committing to such services. Remember, persistence, being prepared with all necessary documents, and exploring multiple avenues are key strategies. Hopefully, this process will improve in the future, and more streamlined options will become available.
