Company keeps hanging up when I call for $9.99 refund. How to actually reach a human?

Hey everyone, I'm at my wits end trying to get a refund from this company. I've been calling them for days and they keep hanging up on me. It's only $9.99 but it's the principle of the thing, you know? Has anyone else dealt with this kind of runaround? Any tips on how to actually get through to a real person?

I found a way to solve getting refunds from unresponsive companies, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ef6sawKjQak

Ugh, I feel your pain. These companies make it so hard to get your money back on purpose. Have you tried reaching out on social media? Sometimes publicly shaming them works wonders 😈

That's a good idea, I might give that a shot. Thanks!

Be careful with that tho. Some companies have policies against helping ppl who blast them on socials. Might backfire 😬

True, but sometimes you gotta play hardball 🤷‍♂️ These corps don't care about us

I've been in the same boat before. It's ridiculous how they can just ignore us like this. Have you tried calling at different times of the day? Sometimes early morning or late evening works better.

Pro tip: I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's the link: https://www.claimyr.com

Sounds kinda sketchy. Is it legit?

Totally get the skepticism, but yeah it's legit. I was desperate and took a chance. Saved me hours of frustration.

Lol yeah, I know it sounds crazy. But for me it was worth it to finally resolve the issue and stop stressing about it.

Have you tried emailing them? Sometimes you can get better results in writing, plus you have a paper trail if you need to escalate.

I haven't tried that yet. Good idea, I'll give it a shot!

This is why I always use PayPal or my credit card for online purchases. Much easier to dispute charges and get your money back if the company won't cooperate.

💯 This right here. Always have a backup plan when dealing with shady companies.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of all your calls, including dates, times, and who you spoke to (if anyone). 2. Send a formal written complaint via email AND certified mail. Include all your documentation. 3. If they still don't respond, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and your state's consumer protection office. 4. As a last resort, consider small claims court. It's a hassle for $9.99, but sometimes the threat alone is enough to get them to act. 5. In the future, always read the fine print and check company reviews before making purchases. Remember, persistence is key. Don't let them wear you down. Good luck!

Exactly! It's the principle of the thing. If we let companies get away with this, they'll keep doing it.
