How to change SDI payment card? Urgent help needed!

Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my SDI payment and I need to change the card it's being sent to. Has anyone gone through this process before? What's the best way to update my payment information? Any tips or advice would be really appreciated!

I found a way to solve SDI payment card update issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-EHF8o08HM

I went through this last year. You gotta log into your SDI account online and go to the payment settings. There should be an option to update your card info there. It's pretty straightforward, but it can take a few days to process the change.

Thanks for the info! Do you remember how long it took for the changes to take effect? I'm worried about missing a payment.

If I remember correctly, it took about 3-5 business days. But don't quote me on that lol. Maybe call them to make sure?

3-5 days?? thats crazy. the system is so slow smh 🙄

Ugh, dealing with SDI can be such a pain. I had to change my payment info too and it was a nightmare. Took forever to get through to someone on the phone.

Same here! I was on hold for like 3 hours before I gave up. There's gotta be a better way.

I found a way to get someone on the phone fast. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken 😤

I know it sounds crazy, but when you've been trying for weeks to get through, $20 starts to look pretty good. It saved me a ton of stress and time.

Is that even legal? Sounds sketchy af

It's totally legit. They're just providing a service to save time. I was skeptical too, but it really worked for me. 🤷‍♂️

Have you tried reaching out to them on social media? Sometimes they respond faster there. Worth a shot if you're stuck!

Listen up, folks. I've been through this rodeo before, and here's what you need to know about changing your SDI payment card: 1. Log into your SDI account online 2. Navigate to 'Payment Settings' or 'Payment Information' 3. Look for an option to update your card details 4. Enter your new card information carefully 5. Double-check everything before submitting 6. Save a screenshot of the confirmation page IMPORTANT: The change can take 3-7 business days to process. Plan accordingly! Pro tip: If you're having trouble online, try calling early in the morning (right when they open) or late in the afternoon (an hour before closing). You might have better luck getting through. Remember, patience is key. The system isn't perfect, but persistence pays off. Good luck!

Wow, thank you so much for this detailed breakdown! This is super helpful. I'll definitely try the early morning call if I can't get it done online.

Has anyone had luck with the mobile app? I heard they updated it recently but idk if it's any good

I tried it last week. It's a bit better than before, but still pretty glitchy. Wouldn't recommend for anything important tbh

Just a heads up, make sure you have your claim number and social security number handy when you call or log in. They always ask for those and it's a pain if you don't have them ready.
