EDD biweekly payment short $2112 - payment schedule ended but still not receiving full amount

Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my EDD payments. I haven't received all my money for the last two weeks. My biweekly rate is supposed to be $2112.00, but I'm not getting the full amount. The payment schedule that was withholding part of my payment has ended, so I'm not sure why this is happening. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to follow up with EDD about missing payments?

Ugh, I feel ya. EDD's been a nightmare lately. Have you tried calling them? It's like trying to win the lottery, but sometimes you get lucky.

I've been trying to call for days, but no luck. It's so frustrating!

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 mins on hold last week.

lol good luck with that. i've been trying for weeks and nada 🤡

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

0 coins

Yeah, it's totally legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny.

How long did it take for them to get through?

0 coins

It took about an hour and a half, but I didn't have to sit there listening to hold music. They just called me when an agent was on the line.

Here's what I'd do: 1. Double-check your UI Online account for any messages or notices. 2. Calculate exactly how much you're missing and for which weeks. 3. Try to contact EDD through their online messaging system. 4. If that doesn't work, prepare a clear, concise explanation of your issue for when you do get through on the phone. 5. Keep a log of all your attempts to contact them. Remember, persistence is key with EDD. Don't give up!

Thanks for the detailed advice! I'll definitely try these steps.

This is solid advice. I'd add: take screenshots of everything for your records. EDD's been known to 'lose' info.

have u checked ur payment history on the EDD website? sometimes payments get stuck in pending status for no reason 🙄

I'm in the same boat, matey. Been waiting on a partial payment for 3 weeks now. EDD's really leaving us high and dry. 🏴‍☠️

Arrr, we be needin' a mutiny against these landlubbers at EDD! 🦜

Aye, I'd sign up for that crew in a heartbeat! 😂

Have you considered reaching out to your local assembly member's office? They can sometimes help expedite EDD issues.

0 coins

I hadn't thought of that. How do I find my assembly member?

0 coins

Just google '[your city] assembly member'. They usually have a 'contact us' form on their website for constituent services.

OMG THIS IS SO TYPICAL OF EDD 🤬 they always mess up and we have to chase them down. its like they dont even care about us!!!

Quick question - did you report any earnings during those weeks? Sometimes that can affect your payment amount.

0 coins

Nope, no earnings to report. That's why I'm so confused about the missing money.

Heads up, there was a system update last week. Might be causing delays. Give it a few more days before you panic.

Source? I haven't heard about any updates.

It was mentioned in a press release on the EDD website. I'll try to find the link.

pro tip: write down EVERYTHING when u finally get thru to someone. names, id numbers, what they tell u. EDD's got more holes in their memory than my grandmas cheese grater 🧀
