EDD biweekly payment short $2112 - payment schedule ended but still not receiving full amount
Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my EDD payments. I haven't received all my money for the last two weeks. My biweekly rate is supposed to be $2112.00, but I'm not getting the full amount. The payment schedule that was withholding part of my payment has ended, so I'm not sure why this is happening. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to follow up with EDD about missing payments?

Ugh, I feel ya. EDD's been a nightmare lately. Have you tried calling them? It's like trying to win the lottery, but sometimes you get lucky.

•Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 mins on hold last week.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

•Yeah, it's totally legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny.

•How long did it take for them to get through?

•It took about an hour and a half, but I didn't have to sit there listening to hold music. They just called me when an agent was on the line.

Here's what I'd do: 1. Double-check your UI Online account for any messages or notices. 2. Calculate exactly how much you're missing and for which weeks. 3. Try to contact EDD through their online messaging system. 4. If that doesn't work, prepare a clear, concise explanation of your issue for when you do get through on the phone. 5. Keep a log of all your attempts to contact them. Remember, persistence is key with EDD. Don't give up!

•This is solid advice. I'd add: take screenshots of everything for your records. EDD's been known to 'lose' info.

I'm in the same boat, matey. Been waiting on a partial payment for 3 weeks now. EDD's really leaving us high and dry. 🏴☠️

Have you considered reaching out to your local assembly member's office? They can sometimes help expedite EDD issues.

Jamal Anderson
•I hadn't thought of that. How do I find my assembly member?

•Just google '[your city] assembly member'. They usually have a 'contact us' form on their website for constituent services.

Quick question - did you report any earnings during those weeks? Sometimes that can affect your payment amount.

Jamal Anderson
•Nope, no earnings to report. That's why I'm so confused about the missing money.

Heads up, there was a system update last week. Might be causing delays. Give it a few more days before you panic.

•Source? I haven't heard about any updates.

•It was mentioned in a press release on the EDD website. I'll try to find the link.
