EDD Weekly Payments Not Automatic - Have to Call Every Time for Money

Hey everyone, I'm having some serious issues with my weekly payments. I'm supposed to be getting paid every week, but for some reason, I have to call in every single time just to get the money into my account. It's driving me crazy! Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on what could be causing this or how to fix it? I'm getting really frustrated having to chase down my own money every week.

I found a way to solve weekly payment delays issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dU_OvJRIkkw

Ugh, that sounds so frustrating! I've had similar issues before. Have you tried checking your account online to see if there's any info about why the payments aren't going through automatically?

Yeah, I've checked online but there's nothing there explaining the issue. It's like everything looks fine on their end, but the money just doesn't show up unless I call 🤷‍♂️

That's so weird! Maybe there's a glitch in their system? Def keep pushing them for answers, this isn't right!

I feel your pain, OP. The system is totally broken. I've been dealing with payment issues for months now. It's like they want us to give up and stop claiming what we're owed. Stay strong and keep fighting! 💪

Have you tried reaching out to your local representative? Sometimes they can help push things through when the regular channels aren't working.

That's a good idea, I hadn't thought of that. I'll give it a shot, thanks!

OK, let me break this down for you. I've been through this rodeo before and here's what you need to do: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of when you're supposed to be paid, when you actually get paid, and every time you have to call. 2. When you call, ask to speak to a supervisor. The front-line reps often can't do much. 3. Request a formal investigation into why your account isn't processing automatic payments. There might be a flag on your account. 4. If they can't give you a clear answer, file a formal complaint. This often kicks things up to a higher level. 5. Check your bank info on file. Sometimes a tiny error can cause big problems. 6. As someone else mentioned, contacting your local rep can help. They often have direct lines to the department. 7. If all else fails, consider seeking legal advice. There are often free legal clinics that can help with benefit issues. Remember, persistence is key. Don't let them wear you down. You're entitled to timely payments!

idk if this helps, but I found a way to actually get someone on the phone without waiting forever. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds interesting, but $20? Is it really worth it?

For me it was. I wasted hours trying to get through on my own. This saved me so much time and frustration.

Seems kinda sketchy... has anyone else tried this?

I get the skepticism, but it's legit. They're just doing the hold time for you. Saved me a ton of headache.

have u checked ur claim status lately? sometimes there can be a hold or smthing that stops the payments. might be worth double checking

Yuki Yamamoto

Yeah, I've checked and everything looks normal on my end. That's what makes it so confusing!

This happened to me last year. Turns out there was a glitch in their system that was flagging my account for manual review every week. Took forever to get it sorted out. Hang in there!

Have you tried updating your direct deposit info? Sometimes even if nothing has changed, re-entering it can kickstart the system.

I haven't tried that actually. I'll give it a shot, thanks for the suggestion!
