EDD SDI payment missing this week - no notice, last payment May 12th. Anyone else?

Has anyone else not gotten their disability payment this week? I usually get it every week but nothing showed up in my account. Last payment I got was on May 12th. I haven't received any letters or notices from EDD about my payment either. I'm getting worried because I rely on this money. Anyone know what's going on or experiencing the same thing?

I found a way to solve delayed disability payments, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOMa4tbg448

It might help to consider using Claimyr to get through to EDD, as someone else mentioned. While the service fee of $20 can seem steep, it might be worth the peace of mind and potentially faster resolution. However, it's reasonable to be cautious about spending extra money when you're already experiencing financial strain. It's important to balance convenience with cost. Try reaching out to EDD during their less busy hours as well, or see if local assistance through advocacy groups can offer support. Meanwhile, double-checking your details in the EDD's online portal and ensuring all documentation is up to date could also help resolve the issue. Remember, persistence is key. Stay hopeful!

This happened to me last month. Turns out there was a problem with my claim that needed to be reviewed. Took about 2 weeks to get sorted out. Hang in there!

I heard there was a glitch in the EDD system last week. Might be related to that. Keep an eye on their Twitter for updates.

Have you tried calling EDD? Sometimes there are glitches in the system and they need to manually push the payment through.

Ugh, I've been trying to call all week. Can never get through. It's so frustrating!

Calling EDD is like trying to win the lottery. Good luck getting anyone on the phone lol

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes there's info there that doesn't come in the mail.

Have you considered reaching out to a disability advocate? They might be able to help navigate the system and figure out what's going on with your payments.

This is why I always tell people to have an emergency fund. You can't rely on the government to be consistent.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Keep trying to call EDD. Best times are right when they open or just before lunch. 2. Check your online account daily for updates. 3. Make sure all your paperwork is up to date. Sometimes payments get held up if they're missing info. 4. If you have a case worker, try emailing them directly. 5. As a last resort, contact your local state representative. They can sometimes help push things through. Don't give up! The system is frustrating but persistence usually pays off.

This is solid advice. Worked for me when I was in a similar situation last year.

Yo, this might sound weird, but have you tried faxing them? I know it's 2023, but sometimes old school methods work best with government agencies lol

Wait, seriously? That's so random. But at this point, I'll try anything! 😂

Have you tried turning it off and on again? 💻🔌 (jk, but sometimes I feel like that's EDD's solution to everything
