Weekly SDI payments suddenly stopped - what to do?

Hey everyone, I'm having a problem with my disability payments. They're supposed to come in weekly, but I haven't received anything lately. Has anyone else experienced delays with their disability checks? I'm getting worried because I rely on this money. Any advice on what I should do or who I should contact?

I found a way to solve disability payment delays, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xI5REZ0E-w

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. My payments have been delayed for 3 weeks now. Its so frustrating! Have you tried calling the disability office? I've been trying but can never get through to a real person.

Calling is useless, I swear they never pick up. I've been on hold for hours and nothing 😤

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 mins of waiting last week!

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

20 bucks? That's a rip-off. The government should make it easier to contact them!

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

Have you checked your claim status online? Sometimes there are issues that need to be resolved before they can release payments. Log into your account and see if there are any pending items or messages.

This happened to me last year. Turns out there was a glitch in their system and a bunch of us didn't get paid. They eventually fixed it and gave us backpay. Hang in there!

Oh wow, that's good to know. How long did it take for them to fix it?

It took about a month 😩 But they did pay interest on the late payments, so that was something at least.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Check your online account for any messages or alerts 2. Make sure all your paperwork is up to date (medical certifications, etc.) 3. Try calling first thing in the morning (8:00 AM sharp) 4. If you can't get through, send a secure message through your online portal 5. Consider contacting your local state representative's office - they can sometimes help push things through 6. Document everything - dates you called, who you spoke to, what was said 7. If it goes on for more than 3 weeks, file a formal complaint Remember, you're entitled to these benefits. Don't give up!

This is great advice! I'd add: join Facebook groups for your state's disability program. Sometimes they have insider info.

Has anyone tried the new chatbot on the disability website? I heard it can sometimes help with simple issues like payment delays.

I tried it. It's okay for basic stuff, but anything complicated and it just tells you to call 🙄
