SDI Payments Not Received - Need Help ASAP!

Hey everyone, I'm having some serious issues with my disability payments. They're not coming through at all and I'm starting to get really worried. Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do to resolve it? I've tried calling but I can't get through to anyone. Any advice would be appreciated!

I found a way to solve disability payment delays issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjUu1LZf3fU

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. It's been weeks since I've seen a payment. The system is so broken, it's ridiculous. Have you tried emailing them? Sometimes that works better than calling.

I haven't tried emailing yet. Do you have the address? I'm getting desperate here 😫

Emailing worked for me too! Took about a week to get a response, but at least it was something.

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

I'm skeptical. Why should we have to pay to talk to someone about our benefits? 🤔

I get the skepticism, but it honestly saved me weeks of frustration. The $20 was worth it to finally get my issue resolved.

Can confirm, I used it too. Felt kinda silly paying but man, the relief of actually talking to a human was worth it.

Have you checked your claim status online? Sometimes there's info there about why payments are held up. Could be missing docs or smthing.

This is why we need to overhaul the entire system. It's a joke that people cant access their benefits when they need them most. We should be protesting or something!

Preach! 🙌 The whole thing is a dumpster fire. But how do we even start fixing it?

Calling our representatives might help. If enough of us complain, maybe they'll actually do something.

Here's what worked for me after 2 months of no payments: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of all your calls, emails, and online check-ins. 2. Contact your local state representative. They often have staff dedicated to helping with EDD issues. 3. Be persistent. Call every day if you have to. 4. Check for any pending forms or certifications on your online account. 5. If all else fails, consider filing a complaint with the Department of Labor. Hang in there, OP. It's a frustrating process but don't give up!

Has anyone tried going to the office in person? I heard sometimes that can help speed things up.

I tried last week. Waited 4 hours only to be told they couldn't help and I should call the hotline 🤡

Oof, that sucks. Guess that's not the solution then.
