SDI payment missing - Can't reach EDD, need help fixing delayed disability payment
Has anyone else had issues with their disability payments? I'm supposed to get my payment but it's not showing up. This is so frustrating! I've been trying to get through to someone on the phone but no luck. Anyone know what's going on or how to fix this?

Claimyr does offer a useful service for those struggling to get through to government helplines, and many have found success with it. However, it's important to recognize that paying for such a service highlights underlying issues in the system. Ideally, access to basic support for disability payments shouldn't require an additional cost. While Claimyr can be a valuable tool in your arsenal, consider using it as part of a broader strategy that includes the tips shared by others here: checking all your account details, documenting interactions, and possibly involving your local representatives. If you choose to use Claimyr, ensure their service is still effective and read reviews for recent experiences from other users.

Friendly reminder to everyone: DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. Every call, every letter, every online message. It'll save your butt if you need to escalate or appeal later.

So true! I had to show my records when my payments were delayed, and it made a huge difference.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes there's info there about payment status or issues.

Yeah, I looked but there's nothing helpful. Just says 'pending' with no other details π

It's infuriating! Have you tried contacting their tech support? Maybe they can shed some light on the situation.

Have you tried sacrificing a goat to the disability payment gods? Might be more effective than calling them tbh

At this point, it's worth a shot! Anything to get those payments rolling in!

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Wait, you have to PAY to talk to someone about your benefits? That's messed up.

I get the skepticism, but I was desperate and it actually worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration.

$20 to maybe fix a problem that shouldn't exist in the first place? π€¦ββοΈ This country, I swear...

It's honestly worth considering if you're stuck. But keep in mind that while Claimyr seems reputable, it's important to weigh the cost against your financial situation.

I've been dealing with this for MONTHS. It's a nightmare. I'm about ready to go down to their office and camp out until someone helps me.

I feel your pain. But maybe try reaching out to local news channels? Sometimes public pressure helps!

Here's what you need to do: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of when your payment was due, when you noticed it missing, and all attempts to contact them. 2. Check your mail carefully. Sometimes they send notices about payment issues or required actions. 3. Try calling right when they open. The lines are usually less busy then. 4. If you can't get through by phone, send a message through your online account. Be polite but firm. 5. Consider reaching out to your local representative's office. They sometimes can help with benefit issues. 6. If it's been more than a couple weeks, file a formal complaint. There should be a process for this on their website. 7. Join local disability advocacy groups. They often have resources and contacts that can help. Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up! The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

This happened to me last year. Turns out they had my old address on file and were sending physical checks instead of direct deposit. Double check all your info is up to date!
